The whole city is very beautiful but the
following places should be visited.
Domel
It is known as Domel because here two rivers the Neelum and the Jahelum
meets.
Shamshan Ghat
At the point where two rivers meet, there is an old Shamshan Ghat made
by Dogras in 18th century. Here "Hindus" cremated the dead. (burn the
dead and drop the ash in the river)
Defense Park
It is located on the left bank of the Jahelum river at domel.the scene
of the clasping of two rivers
can be viewed from here.
Darbar Shali Sarkar
1/2 km from Domel here is the shrine of very famous saint Syed Sahki
Shaki Sarkar.
Most of Govt. offices Prime minister House President House National
Library are also located in this sector. It is also known as old
secretariat.
Sathra City View Point
One can have a panoramic view of city from here. At night city is
glittering with lights and it is really a wonderful view.
Neelum Fort (Red Fort)
At the left bank of the river Neelum, there is an old fort. It is a
historical building. Hundred of years have elapsed yet it is still
fighting with the fast and furious waves of the river Neelum.
Sheed Gali
16km from city at an height of 4500 feet this place is known as Dub
Gali. Tourist guest house is also located here.
Lohar Gali
Peoples and tourist when reaches Lohar Gali from Abbotabad route, the
fascinating view of city says welcome to them. It is also said as Babe-Muzaffarabad
(Gate of Muzaffarabad).
From this point the view of river Jahelum is amazing. Once you see it
you never forget it for a long time.
Pir Chinassi
At a drive of 50 mints. 25km from city at an altitude of 9500 feet this
place is famous for Shrine of Hazart Shah Hussain Bukhari, green forest,
beautiful birds and precious herbs. In winter snows here. For tourist He
